Shipping Maritime Museum in Ireon

Expected to be completed in 2016, the shipping and maritime museum of Samos is being built in Ireon town. It will be dedicated to the rich heritage of Samian maritime tradition. This tradition has its routes in the ancient years with the construction of the Samena war and commercial ship and continues to 18^th and 19^th century sailing vessels.
