Northwestern of Heraeon, on the slopes of Mountain Bournia, we discover Pagondas’ village. Pagondas has got an overwhelming view, and its large square is our starting point on our way, through the many alleys, to get to the highest point of the village, where we will discover the aqueduct, with its arches and laundry spots. The churches of Agia Triada and of Agios Georgios await us to light a candle. In the past there were silk-producing workshops. Nowadays the hillsides, which are overgrown with olive trees, portray the main occupation of the locals; olive oil. From here we can reach Tsopela beach by following a dirt road.
